SPSS 17 for Macintosh requires a Mac with an Intel processor, runningMac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) or Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard). SPSS 17 will not runon a PowerPC machine, or under Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard); accordingto the vendor, however, the SPSS 18 release will resolve the latterproblem.
